Sometimes we don’t know what we need — until we do.
Sometimes we don’t know what we need — until we do.
Before I tried yoga, I was convinced it wasn’t for me.
It looked slow. Boring Like something meant for people who couldn’t do “hard” things.
I had no idea it would lead me into a whole holistic journey.
I went both out of curiosity — and of necessity.
I was constantly forgetting to breathe.
Sounds odd, but true.
Turns out lying still for two minutes was the hardest part.
And that probably says quite a bit about how I was then.
But slowly, I found my breath.
And then I kept going back.
Every day.
It also made me question a lot of things.
One of them was simple but uncomfortable: Why was it so hard to stay still with my thoughts for two minutes?
That curiosity led me to therapy.
Something I also didn’t expect to stay in my life for so many years.
Sometimes it was hard.
The kind of hard that makes you question why you started.
I wanted to stop after most sessions.
Until I didn’t.
I’m glad I stuck to it.
The ripple effects have gone far beyond what I could have hoped for.
Looking back, many pivotal moments in life begin with a quiet thought:
“Maybe I should try it.”
The truth is, we rarely know what might be life-changing before we step into it.
Most of us have felt that flicker — that small voice that says: yes… maybe.
And maybe it’s worth listening to.
If it fails?
You’ll learn something.
But what if it changes your life?
Maybe it’s worth remembering — the next time a door quietly opens.
